Housekeeping Supervisors play an integral role in ensuring that each of our customers have exceptional experiences in their guest rooms. Supervisors are responsible for positive guest interactions on the floors and handling any issues in a friendly and efficient manner. They must also be knowledgeable on providing immaculate cleanliness in all guest rooms prior to guests checking in and those staying over, making them feel welcomed.
BASIC FUNCTION:
The right person will show interest in providing for guests, both internal and external, they must be passionate about cleaning, providing exceptional customer service, and should thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will also have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working as a Supervisor in a bustling, fast-paced resort.
- Oversee the performance and cleaning standards of assigned housekeepers.
- Inspect all Guest Rooms with your fellow Supervisors.
- Assist and supervise staff.
- Prioritize and direct work of staff.
- Responsible for the training of employees.
- Update room statuses throughout the day on the hotel computer system.
- Responsible for the care and cleanliness of all areas of responsibility.
- Evaluate performance of staff.
- Report deficiencies and maintenance requirements.
- Remain alert, courteous and helpful to guests and co-workers at all times.
- The ability to work at least a 40-hour work week
- The ability to communicate, write and speak English.
- Perform other related duties as requested by Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager.
- Assist all other departments as needed to ensure the success of the overall operation of the property.
- Any other reasonable tasks as assigned.
- Required to perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
- Scheduled hours may vary on business needs and may or may not include holidays, weekends, various shifts, overtime or reduced hours.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will also have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working as a Supervisor in a bustling, fast-paced resort.
- Must be knowledgeable and familiar with all aspects of custodial service.
- Neat, pleasant personality.
- Ability to train staff in methods and procedures of handling equipment and cleaning products.
- Must be bi-lingual.
- Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Must be able to learn basic computer functions for Room Statuses.
Compensation Range:The compensation for this position is $19.00/Hr. - $20.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
