Housekeeping Supervisor - Long-Term Care - Health Center at Franklin Park

The Health Center at Franklin Park, an American Baptist Homes of the Midwest community, is looking to hire a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to help our Environmental Services team provide excellent service to our valued residents.

• Starts from $21-$24/hr based on experience
• This is a full-time position that also includes on-call responsibilities

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Franklin Park, you will lead and supervise a team of housekeepers and laundry workers, including hiring, training, coaching and counseling as required. You will maintain the departmental schedule, coordinate with other departments as appropriate, order supplies, and perform routine audits to ensure operational safety and sanitation standards are being met.

This is a working supervision role, requiring general housekeeping and laundry work. Cleaning assignments include general cleaning, common areas and resident rooms. Lastly, as the department supervisor, you must have availability to respond to on-call emergencies outside of standard working hours if necessary.

What you will need:

• Prior housekeeping and/or laundry supervisory experience required
• Long-term care experience, or knowledge of applicable regulations, required
• Proficient computer skills
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and have excellent interpersonal, management, conflict resolution, time management, and organizational skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age
