Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
Our Supervisors are responsible for serving the needs of the business and our guests by ensuring the cleanliness of our guest rooms as assigned in a timely and thorough manner, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct physical inspection of assigned rooms according to departmental standards, ensuring the highest possible degree of cleanliness.
Ensure departmental standards, procedures, training, and employee conduct is maintained through supervision and observation of room attendants, turndown attendants, housepersons, and public area attendants.
Report any maintenance issues promptly in accordance with departmental and hotel standards.
Inspect all door and window locks to ensure they are in working order. Alert management to any unsecured or unsafe situation for the safety of guests and employees.
Report any unusual situations such as exceptionally dirty rooms, missing items or room status discrepancies (clean, dirty, vacant, occupied).
Maintain and restock work supplies each day.
Responsible for proper administration of key control for issued keys and keys left by guests in rooms.
Adhere to lost and found procedure, ensuring the proper retrieval and placement of items found upon a guest’s departure.
Maintain respect for guest confidentiality and personal items.
Engage each guest with a smile and appropriate greeting, using the guest’s name whenever appropriate. Graciously accommodate guest requests.
Make suggestions for improvement in overall operations with an emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction, revenue and cost reduction.
Demonstrate and uphold Auberge Resorts Core Standards at all times.
Capture and record guest preferences into internal communication platform where appropriate
Work in accordance with hotel and departmental safety standards.
Use all hotel equipment safely and properly.
Participate in and support hotel and company efforts towards sustainability and environmental initiatives as part of the Planet Auberge program
Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A genuine affinity for interacting with guests and team members alike
Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time seamlessly including delivery of guest requests and room attendant requests
Ability to work cohesively with other departments and individuals as part of a team
Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and security of guest rooms
Competency and learning within new computer based applications
Bilingual in English and Spanish
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a luxury Resort
This is an hourly position paying $24.72/hr.
