Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor
Summary:
Responsible for the successful operation of the Housekeeping Department. This includes the oversight of (but not limited to) (in some cases where a contractor is engaged) stayover or check-out room cleaning, common area/office cleaning, room inspections, winter deep cleans, laundry services/supply, unit amenities, unit supplies, condo inspections, product/supply procurement, and department budget. The resort prides itself in the level of personalized service we provide. Therefore, we expect our Housekeeping Supervisor to train and enforce a high level of integrity and service with the Housekeeping Team and to always attend to our guests’ needs in a professional manner. Other duties as deemed necessary by management.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in as a housekeeping supervisor.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Support and train the Housekeeping Team on safety standards, harassment and discrimination policies, and any other business policies.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations and practical problems.
- Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and kneel. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
