Position Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor reports directly to the Resort Manager. This position provides training, inspects the
performance of outsourced housekeeping services, and otherwise assists when necessary to ensure that housekeeping
and cleanliness standards set by Daily Management, Inc. are met and consistently maintained. This position serves as
liaison between the contracted housekeeping service and Front Desk and Maintenance departments. Core responsibilities
include but are not limited to the following.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Responds to general guest concerns related to accommodation deficiencies and any other housekeeping-related
issues.
• Maintains hospitality standards set by Daily Management for guest satisfaction toward achieving and/or
maintaining RCI Gold Crown and Interval International Premier statuses.
• Assists in monitoring inventory levels and ordering of equipment and supplies.
• Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated.
• Proactively assists with all aspects of laundry operations maintaining adequate par levels to support occupancy.
• Disperses housewares as required to cleaning staff and maintains inventory of housewares.
• Performs regular inspections of accommodations and all common areas for cleanliness.
• Assists in planning and scheduling annual Major Maintenance and deep cleaning programs.
• Assists in scheduling and participates in training sessions and departmental meetings for housekeeping
personnel as requested.
• Assists in ensuring staff is trained in the safe handling of cleaning chemicals, in accordance with department
guidelines, and assures compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards, SDS, OSHA, EPA and other
applicable rules and regulations.
• Strives to maintain a safe work environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment,
and the achievement of safe working practices.
• Contributes to a professional and high-quality service-oriented environment by being attentive, friendly, helpful,
and courteous to all guests, managers, and team members.
• Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments.
• Reviews guest feedback daily.
• Reconciles third party housekeeping charges.
• Manages multiple projects with demonstrated flexibility.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of emergency procedures, and equipment.
• Responds appropriately to emergency situations and works closely with departmental managers.
• Adheres to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company, including, but not limited to, those
contained in the Employee Handbook.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
Managerial Responsibilities:
This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising
performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Experience:
Three to five years of hospitality-related housekeeping supervisory experience is desired. Timeshare or resort experience
highly desired. Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, communicate effectively at all levels; and
demonstrate the ability to analyze and resolve problems. Computer proficiency is needed.
Education:
High School diploma or GED required.
Flexible Scheduling:
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job the team member is required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. It is
employee is required to use his/her hands and fingers to feel, and reach for objects of various sizes, shapes, and weight.
The team member will occasionally be required to climb a step ladder or balance and to talk, hear and/or smell. Must
regularly push, pull, lift, and/or move 10-25 pounds, and occasionally push, pull, lift, and/or move 50 or more pounds with
assistance. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision,
depth perception and ability to focus on various settings.

This position is highly visible in all resort areas, team members must present a clean professional appearance and must
adhere to Daily Management, Inc. Standard Operating Procedures-Standards of Appearance.
