Job Summary
This is a support position for the Housing Program. The incumbent will assist the Housing Representative in case files management, property management, recordkeeping, along with other duties as assigned by the Housing Representative.
Essential Functions
- Assist with maintaining files on housing clients and properties
- Data Entry
- Assist in compiling and preparing program and grant reports
- Assist with the completion of grant objectives
- Assist the Safehome Crew in completing environmental impact evaluations for each project
- Assist in the screening of potential housing clients
- Develop and maintain client case records through personal interview, phone contacts and collateral contacts to support authorization and/or deny application of person(s) ineligibility for services using confidentiality in accordance with the Tribe's policies and procedures
- Maintain a good working relationship with other community programs and agencies
- Attend staff and Tribally Designated Housing Entity meetings as required

Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience
- One (1) year of administrative or clerical work experience
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
- Knowledge and experience working with cultural diversities
License/Certification
- Must have a valid Alaska State driver's license and must remain insurable under the Tribe's policy, or obtain within 90 days of hire, or, with approval of the hiring manager, sign a *Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in lieu of having a driver's license to perform the required duties of the position (If Applicable)
