Housing Coordinator
The Bridge is seeking a Housing Coordinator to provide supportive services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and individuals experiencing homelessness in TBOTW's housing program. The role includes entering and verifying data in the centralized or coordinated assessment system as required by regulations and checking for accuracy, pulling participants for available housing units, and coordinating with other agencies involved in housing programs.
The Coordinator will conduct ongoing risk assessments and safety planning for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking, while assisting with emergency transfers when needed. Additionally, the role involves coordinating and facilitating orientations for participants, covering supportive services, housing rights under VAWA, and the move-in and inspection processes as well as coordinating intakes with participants residing in the community or other agencies.
This position will also help participants locate, secure, and retain housing by ensuring they understand their leases, coordinating utilities, and assisting with the transition from homelessness to permanent housing. The Housing Coordinator will mediate with property owners, oversee housing inspections, and support participants in developing life skills and housing maintenance plans.
Other responsibilities include coordinating move-ins and maintenance with landlords, updating policies and procedures, transporting participants to necessary appointments, and engaging in community outreach to market TBOTW’s housing programs. The Coordinator will also build relationships with landlords and maintain accurate data for affirmative marketing efforts.

- Full Time/Non-Exempt: 36-hours a week
- Schedule: Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm with a rotating on-call duty.
- $40,000 annually

Required Skills & Qualifications
- A High School Diploma/GED required.
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred, not required.
- Must pass criminal background investigation check
- Must pass drug screen
- Must provide and maintain current TX Driver’s License
- Must provide and maintain clean driving record and annually update driving record
- Must provide and maintain current auto liability insurance
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 40lbs, and ascend/descend stairs at various apartment complexes, both onsite and at scattered-site locations and in emergency shelter setting.
