The Housing Director will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and sober community outside of Center hours. They will have a team of Day, Swing, Night Staff and will engage with our sober living (SL) homes and act as an extension of the Center, working with Center staff reporting on behavioral issues which may come up including sobriety, cleanliness, and attitude.
What you"ll do:
Administrative Support
Track and assign mental health beds
Approve/deny overnights in mental health houses
Develop UA/BAC protocols
Manage supplies, assets and storage
Client Support
Develop community programs within the houses
Ensure cleanliness, care and compassionate environments
On-call for evening and nighttime emergencies
- Train and hire Mental Health Support Specialist
- Create weekly schedules, cover missing shifts and develop staff
- Work with Clinical Directors and leadership for the best
Qualifications
Education and Certifications:
High School Diploma (required)
BA or college coursework in Human Services, Psychology or Business is a plus!
Drug and Alcohol Certification
Experience:
3-5+ years of experience with residential, sober living, or mental health housing
previous leadership and/or management experience
previous experience managing schedules
Skills:
Strong communication skills
Excellent organization and coordination skills
Responsible and reliable
Capable of handling groups and individual crisis
Experience with MS Office: Outlook, Excel
Negative TB test within past year
Ability to pass pre-employment and/or random drug screenings
The pay range for this role is:
67,000 - 80,000 USD per year(The Forge Recovery Center (MH))
