Housing Voucher Program Manager
IMMEDIATE OPENING for a Housing Voucher Program Manager for our Danbury client. Work Mon-Thurs (35 hrs) - 70-85k – Direct Hire !.
Housing Voucher Program Manager responsibilities will include:
Oversee administration and reporting of all voucher housing programs
Liaison for community agencies
Ensure compliance with HUD, state, and local requirements
Perform month-end closing procedures for programs, as well as submissions to HUD, PIC to ensure compliance
Receive participant grievances and reasonable accommodations, schedule and attend hearings, maintain records
Perform QC on correct participant rent calculation, housing quality standards inspections and enforcement … and more

Skill and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Public Admin, Business Admin or related field; professional experience may be substituted for educational requirements
Knowledge of HUD rules and regulations
4 years exp in Section 8 Program administration – with at least 2 being Supervisory
Able to handle and resolve complex situations effectively and professionally
Understand and keep current on agency policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local codes, rules and regulations as pertains to job duties
Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
Must have clean CT Drivers license and ability to be insured by organization’s insurer
Salary 70-85k
Hours – Monday – Thursdays – 7:45am – 5:30pm - 35 hour work week

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
