Responsibilities
This position reports to the Housing Program Manager. Providing management, training, communication, and development to front-line Housing Department employees is the primary function of this role. The knowledge to apply critical thinking skills to elevate issues to the Housing Program Manager when required is vital.

- Supervises assigned housing technicians, which will require communication of organizational needs, overseeing employee performance, providing guidance, support, and identification of development/training needs.
- Provide coverage for transitional housing program shifts, as needed.
- Resolve day-to-day issues that arise within designated houses as needed, applying critical thinking to elevate issues as needed.
- Tour assigned houses weekly to report and take steps to improve upon the cleanliness status of assigned houses, including communicating issues through the proper chain of command.
- Train new housing tech employees using company policy and procedure, including skills and knowledge, certifications, Relias, and other training as required.
- Management of transitional living housing techs schedule to ensure assigned house locations have necessary coverage at all times; primary point of contact for coverage at their assigned houses when required.
- Development and management of the client activity schedule.
- Monitor skillset and continuing development of direct reports via shift shadowing and one-on-ones.
- Provide input to and enforce the policies in Client Handbook and Housing Tech Handbook
- Daily review of all documentation, including shift notes and group notes.
- Perform daily and weekly medication census monitoring for consistent and accurate documentation.
- Review daily timecards and approve payroll bi-weekly.
- Oversight for the logs, tasks, and cleanliness of their assigned houses, as demonstrated by weekly walk-throughs; provide correction as needed for their direct reports.
- Report on the status of the residents, houses, and compliance as needed. Elevate concerns appropriately through the chain of command.
- Assist other clinical and care coordination departments, as needed, to positively impact client experience. Other duties as may reasonably be assigned from time to time.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting up to 50 pounds may be required infrequently
- This job may require being outside in extreme weather for limited periods of time
- This job may have exposure to bodily fluids: PPE is provided by the company.
- This type of work involves sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping from brief periods of time to lengthy periods of time.
- This position may require ascension and descension of one or more flights of stairs throughout the shift.
- This job will require driving at various times of the day with multiple people in the vehicle.
- This job may require personnel to work weekends or nights and may be required to cover subordinate shifts.

Position Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 12 months experience in working in the field of substance abuse treatment or behavioral health-related field, preference given to supportive housing experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record preferred.
- Complete all required documentation following company policies and state criteria.
- Six months of experience working for NorthSight Recovery (for internal applicants)
