Job Overview
We are seeking an Administrative and Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day administrative and accounting tasks and provide support to the bookkeeper and other team members.
Duties
- Perform data entry and assist in maintaining accurate financial records
- Assist with processing invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Prepare and maintain various financial reports
- Payroll experience is a plus
- Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Support the accounting team in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Handle general accounting tasks such as journal entries, debits, and credits
- Utilize Sage/Timberline software
- Other duties as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Familiarity with Sage and Timberline is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles

M-F-7:30-4:00 (The option to work less hours is available)
$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
