About the Job
A well know healthcare center located in Georgetown, DE, is for looking to employ an enthusiastic and driven HR Assistant to support the HR team carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all employees.
Position Type: Contract
Schedule: Full Time, Monday- Friday
Location: Georgetown, DE
Responsibilities:
Assists in the recruitment/on-boarding process through resume/application tracking.
Post, update, and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks as needed.
Schedule interviews with shortlisted candidates.
Preparation of correspondence with applicants, and preparation of orientation documents.
Assists in benefits administration including employee changes and open enrollment processing.
Maintains human resource information system records and process accurate and timely employee transactions.
Performs clerical duties such as make photocopies, fax/scan documents, prepare correspondence, file papers and documents into appropriate employee files, prepare new employee files, purge terminated employee files, and maintain company organization chart.
Organizing and scanning employee files, filing HR documents accordingly.
Assisting in the planning of company events.
Maintains confidentiality of company information and protected information stored in the Human Resources department.
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED with one year of experience in the HR field, pursuit of degree in human resource field, or any similar combination of education and experience.
2 Years of Office/Admin Experience Required, Great with Technology
Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree Required
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
The ability to work as part of a team.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
Detail oriented.
Experience working in an office environment preferred.
Effective communication skills.
