ABOUT THE ROLE
Amsted Automotive is looking for a passionate and highly motivated HR Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role will be to support the configuration, implementation, maintenance, administration and continuous improvement of the human resource information system (UKG Pro) in addition to other ancillary systems and analytics dashboards related to HR and Payroll.
Reporting to the HRIS Manager, the person in this role will serve as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, processing data, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities as well as support LMS content management.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Data Integrity and Processing:
- Monitors HR databases to ensure quality assurance and data integrity.
- Performs internal data audits for HR operations.
- Enters and maintains accurate employee data in HRIS (UKG Pro), including new hires, employee changes, leaves, and separations.
- Support for Digital Business Processes and LMS:
- Assists HRIS team with implementation projects as required.
- Provide support for LMS and digital business process flow, ensuring smooth administration, maintenance and optimized configuration including any updates and upgrades as needed.
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of new or improved processes/configurations.
- Ensure content in the LMS is accessible and user friendly.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide support to end users, troubleshoot requests, and escalate issues as needed.
- Develop training and documentation for HR systems and provide solutions to help drive system usage by employees and managers.
- Reporting and Data Management:
- Deliver routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting and respond to ad hoc data requests.
- Partner with Payroll to manage regular HR processes (e.g. gift taxation, referral bonuses)
- Prepare reports, graphs, charts, and statistics in support of HR operations.
- Generate reports on LMS usage, learner progress, and course effectiveness, and use data to recommend improvements.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure all HRIS and digital processes comply with relevant policies and standards for data protection and privacy.
- Ensure that established processes and any associated standard operating procedures (SOPs) are updated and followed.
- Continuous Improvement and Other duties:
- Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes.
- Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS, focusing on product and service development, delivery, and support.
- Provide support in various day-to-day operations of the HR department.
- Assist with facilitating key people-related processes, including onboarding, leave of absence management, and benefits administration.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT ELSE YOU'LL NEED TO KNOW
- Familiarity with SCORM and other e-learning standards.
- MS Office which includes knowledge of Word, advanced Excel (including pivot tables), PowerPoint, Access and Outlook
- Knowledge of laws related to human resources and payroll, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Wage & Hour and EEO regulations
- Strong analytical ability and critical thinking skills.
- Six Sigma or continuous improvement certification preferred.
- High energy with a strong work ethic, sense of urgency and high expectations for performance.
- Detail oriented; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team, with initiative and accuracy.
- Keeps information organized and accessible, maintains clean/functional workspace, works systematically/efficiently, manages time well.
