Position Overview:
The Human Resources (HR) Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the HR department by handling a variety of administrative tasks, facilitating employee relations, assisting in recruitment processes, and maintaining accurate employee records. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to ensure HR activities run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team, including managing emails, scheduling meetings, and preparing HR-related documents.
- Recruitment Assistance: Support the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and maintaining communication with applicants.
- Interviewing: When necessary, assist with conducting phone and/or in-person interviews as required.
- Onboarding: Coordinate with new hires to arrange and prepare onboarding sessions, assist in new employee orientation, and collect required documentation.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain and update both physical and electronic employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Other Duties: Perform additional HR-related tasks and special projects as assigned by the HR team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in HR or administrative roles is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software such as HRIS.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

- Occasionally required to walk, sit, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move more than 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Salary: $22 - $25 / hour
