Position Overview: The HR Assistant will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department and assist with various HR functions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week at our office in New York City. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks - Maintain employee records and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date - Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries - Coordinate employee training and development programs - Assist with performance management processes, including tracking performance reviews and providing support to managers - Respond to employee inquiries and provide excellent customer service - Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate records - Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed - Maintain confidentiality of all employee information and HR documents - Other duties as assigned by the HR Manager. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field - 1-2 years of experience in HR or related field - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems - Knowledge of HR laws and regulations - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information - Detail-oriented and able to work independently - Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
