Key Responsibilities:
- The HR Benefits Manager will lead the HR & Benefits Department, supervising the HR Coordinator.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
- Streamline and document HR and Benefits processes.
- Review and update employee policies and the Employee Handbook.
- The HR Benefits Manager must coordinate training programs and leadership development initiatives.
- Analyze HR metrics to provide insights and recommendations.
- Maintain and audit the HRIS system.
- Develop and implement performance management systems.
- Manage documentation for employees on LOA, FMLA, and Workers' Compensation.
- The HR Benefits Manager will oversee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Administer benefits enrollment, auditing, and communication.
- Reconcile monthly carrier statements.
- Foster relationships with brokers and third-party administrators to evaluate benefits programs.
- Promote a positive work environment through employee events and community service initiatives.
Qualifications:
- The HR Benefits Manager must hold a Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Must hold a SHRM-CP or SCP certification.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR and Benefits Administration.
- Strong confidentiality, communication, and customer service skills.
- The HR Benefits Manager must have knowledge of multi-state and federal employment laws and regulatory reporting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Experience with ADP payroll/HRIS systems preferred.
- The HR Benefits Manager must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
