About the Job
- Identify learning & development requirements and prepare development plans for the employees.
- Ensure quality education and coordinate vocational trainings.
- Partner with a specific business or businesses to develop and deliver the HR Strategy aligned with the business strategy and Corporate policies and procedures.
- Provide advice as to the best HR management practices to support business objectives.
- Ensure key HR business processes are implemented effectively (e.g. performance management, annual pay/bonus reviews, learning and development, talent planning, succession planning).
- Facilitate the management team to bring best solutions for employees.
- Identify trends/issues that require resolution and involves appropriate resources.
- Build a valuable relationship with internal clients and transfer requests to/from the business unit.
- Provide employee relations counsel to managers and employees on HR matters including performance, discipline, organizational decisions and career development.
- Provide interpretation and guidance on human resources policies and employment law.
- Support HR colleagues and managers to understand and comply with relevant legislation and employee relation policies and practices.
- Participate in implementation and development of HR Instruments and Systems.
- Use relevant data and systems to recommend policy and process solutions to align with HR strategy and plans.
- Creation of evaluations and reporting.
- Participate in the talent acquisition process, ensure the quality of personnel hired, the effectiveness of recruiting and compliance with law requirements.
- Review resumes, perform telephone interviews, administer in-person interviews and conducts reference & background checks.
- Recommending placement of internal and external candidates.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in the area of Human Resources or Business.
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in the field of Human Resources Management in a manufacturing environment in areas such as personnel administration, payroll, recruitment and selection, training, staff services, union relations, etc.
- Labor law knowledge and good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff.
- Excellent project management and change management skills, ability to maintain the confidential information, ability to work independently and resourceful.
