As our HR Business Partner at CHI St Vincent, you will help apply your broad range of talent and skills to support the employees and leaders of the hospital. This is a hands-on role where you can showcase your expertise in our day-to-day operations including employee relations, employee engagement, labor relations (unions), performance development, conflict management, and training programs/initiatives. You have the opportunity to support specific groups and functions in collaboration with clinical and non-clinical leaders across the organization.

CHI St Vincent Infirmary is a 600 bed faith-based, non-profit, acute care facility providing quality health care to patients and communities from all over the State of Arkansas. Our level II trauma center is a regional referral center for cardiology, trauma, behavioral health, cancer care, neurosciences, and other specialties. Responsibilities:- Provide HR partnership, for business initiatives, day to day HR support and execution of strategies for assigned leaders. Conducts meetings with respective leaders as needed (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.)
Consults with department management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, benefits, and learning and development.
Maintains in depth knowledge of compliance requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Bachelor Degree in HR or related field required
(With relevant experience; equivalent education and/or experience; experience through certifications)
- Minimum of three (3) of experience in Human Resources or Leadership
- HR experience should encompass generalist experience or at least 2 or more areas of specialty, e.g., compensation, benefits, employee/labor relations, talent acquisition, etc
- MBA, or related Masters degree preferred
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP Preferred
