The A.C. Coy company has an immediate opening for a HR Business Partner. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in HR or business field, 10+ years of HR experience, and solid experience with labor relations.
Responsibilities:- Create and support strong relationships with business leaders to drive HR initiatives and support business goals
- Develop solutions, programs, and policies to support trends and metrics as they relate to HR initiatives
- Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, and performance management
- Provide guidance and assist with implementation for succession planning and employee development
- Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
- Advise on employee relations issues
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and laws
- Partner with the legal department to support risk management and mitigation strategies
- Lead and support organizational change initiatives by developing communication plans and change management strategies
Education Required
- Bachelor's degree in HR or business field
Experience Required:
- 10 years of HR experience, a least 5 as a HR business partner preferred
- Experience with labor relations, experience with negotiations is a plus
- Experience with conflict resolution
- Prior experience working in a unionized environment is a plus
- Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment law
- Experience with manufacturing or engineering is a plus
