Summary:
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HRBP works closely with all levels of leadership to effectively align and execute regional and company business goals with the Human Resources strategy. The HRBP will be an integral team member partnering with the business to set priorities, drive our core values, and build high performing, results oriented teams. Key focus areas will be talent acquisition, capability building and development, succession planning, retention, and engagement.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Serves as a strategic business partner leading organizational effectiveness including planning and talent assessments, workforce planning, change management and team dynamics to support business growth and objectives.
- Coaches and consults with business to ensure actions reflect a positive work environment and help enhance employee engagement, development, and retention.
- Partner with teams to implement solutions that help scale the business
- Work effectively across HR functions and teams to lead development and delivery of HR processes and systems training
- Provide counsel & drive action in matters concerning organizational design & development, employee & labor relations, change management, staffing and retention.
- Develop, monitor & leverage KPI indicators to drive business improvement.
- Knowledgeable in current regulatory changes as well as shifting market dynamics and provide consultation regarding the business & workforce implications
Skills & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources within the energy/construction industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of human resource practices, principles, and federal/state/local laws.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, analyze & interpret data, driving thoughtful recommendations & action.
- SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred
- Experience working with a unionized workforce preferred
