Starting Salary Range DOE: $61,984 - $67,454.40
This position performs administrative and Human Resources duties including but not limited to gathering, analyzing, and reporting data related to compensation, benefits, policies, employee demographics, and required city, state, and federal reports; administering the City's recruitment program, developing a system for updating and maintaining employee job descriptions; performance management tracking including online performance management system maintenance and administration in coordination with department needs, job postings internal and external, initial candidate review and forwarding to hiring managers. In addition to these primary duties, this position provides backup for the HR generalist position with HRIS data entry in coordination with payroll timing; employee personnel file creation and maintenance; HR front desk and phones; employee drug testing; and processing of annual step increases for employees. Assists HR managers and directors with training, benefits, and employee personnel matters as needed. Performs related work as apparent or assigned.
