Title: HR Governance Project Manager
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Location: any US, EST/CST working hours
Job Description:
The Company HR team is seeking a temporary HR Governance Project Manager for 6 months with the possibility of extension(s). This assignment will play a key role in supporting leaders and leading projects within the HR and Credit, Risk, Audit & Legal functions. This position is responsible for defining, planning, and driving the team activities necessary to reach project objectives including the internal coordination of tasks with a project plan and ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

The Company HR team is seeking a temporary HR Governance Project Manager for 6 months with the possibility of extension(s). This assignment will play a key role in supporting leaders and leading projects within the HR and Credit, Risk, Audit & Legal functions. This position is responsible for defining, planning, and driving the team activities necessary to reach project objectives including the internal coordination of tasks with a project plan and ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Essential Responsibilities will include:
- Leading the planning, execution and completion of HR governance projects across the Credit, Risk, Audit & Legal functions
- Develop project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet business needs and requirements.
- Understand requirements and scope of potential work and potential talent implications including but not limited to training, change management, organizational design, etc.
- Provide regular project updates to key stakeholders
- Work and collaborate cross-functionally and across the HR team as needed
- Prepare communications and change management plans as required
- Track the budget as needed
- Create PowerPoint updates for c-suite
- Support of operating practices associated with project work
- Act as needed as the proxy for HR Leader on project related meetings and events
- Support other HR projects or initiatives as assigned
- Bachelor's degree OR in lieu of degree a high school diploma and 9+ years of HR or project management related experience
- 4-6 years of increasing experience in Human Resources or Project Management
- Experience working with a geographically diverse client group
- Experience managing governance projects preferred
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word & Powerpoint
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
