Provides overall support to the Human Resources function. Primary responsibilities include new hire on-boarding, benefits administration, and ADP system maintenance.
Position Overview:This position provides overall support to the Human Resources function. The nature of the work requires the candidate to demonstrate initiative, organization, responsibility, customer service skills, and the ability to be flexible and adaptive to a fast-paced, growing, and fluid business environment.
Responsibilities:- Assists with the full spectrum of onboarding and offboarding.
- Maintain the government site E-Verify for I-9 forms and follow-up with delinquent
employees. - Perform various ADP administration including setups for enrollment, separations,
employee changes and reporting. - Maintain employee records and run reports on the training platforms.
- Prepare various talent management correspondence and reports which may include
confidential information. - Maintain new hire, separation, and payroll trackers daily.
- Run reports from Fidelity and enter changes into ADP for processing.
- Assist with special projects when assigned, such as but not limited to, employment
verifications, review and scan mail, assist with wellness/engagement tasks, and back-up for receptionist. - Provide quality care to all employees and vendors. Demonstrate a courteous, respectful, and helpful attitude in all interactions whether in person, via email, or telephone.
- 1-3 years’ experience in a business office.
- Requires strong administrative skills.
- Must be focused on details and very organized.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with employees and other departments.
- Ability to organize work in logical, structured format allowing flexibility when appropriate.
- Ability to produce results in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in human resources, benefits administration, or government contracting desirable.
- Experience with an HRIS, ADP, and/or Costpoint a plus
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit;use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk orhear.
