About the Job
We are looking for an efficient Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. You will facilitate daily HR functions like keeping track of employees records and supporting the interview process. Your role,also, involves performing tasks with a focus to grow our company’s talent pipeline and improve our sourcing tactics.
HR Coordinator responsibilities include:
- Responding to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
- Redirecting HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team
- Maintaining records of personnel-related data in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
- Runs any Payroll, Benefits, or other HR related reports as requested.
- Conducts background screening and collects pre-employment documents for all new CPH Employees
- Participates in new hire orientation as needed
- Assists with records management to include paper files, scanning HR files of terminated staff, and setup/maintenance of electronic records.
- Completes Form I-9 and verifies I-9 documentation using E-Verify
- Maintains confidentiality regarding personnel actions; confidential and sensitive performance problems, organizational plans, and legal actions where premature disclosure could disrupt activities within the HR department, the organization.
- Maintains confidentiality of information exposed to during interaction with patients, supervisors, or other employees.
- Produces monthly recognition announcements
- Provides backup and support to the HR department.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: (Experience/Skills/Abilities/Education/Certifications):
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Ability to function well in a fast paced and at times stressful environment
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative to complete projects with little supervision
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (oral and written)
- Must have the ability to keep sensitive information confidential
- Must have organizational skills with an ability to manage paper and electronic files, emails, and documents
- Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint proficiency required
Preferred Qualifications: (Experience/Skills/Abilities/Education/Certifications):
- 1 year of HR experience preferred
