About the Job
A legal services organization in NYC is looking to add a new HR Data and Benefits Analyst to their growing staff.
Responsibilities:
The HR Data and Benefits Analyst will:
- Support and maintain all aspects of the organization's UKG Pro human resources information system (HRIS). Ensures the completeness and accuracy of employee records including all employee changes (i.e. salary, payroll/tax, and benefits). Conduct periodic audits to ensure the accuracy and compliance of data. Timely processing of all new hires and separations. Maintain benefits records within HRIS including staff changes and open enrollment set-up. Partner with vendors to ensure system file feeds are accurate and timely.
- Develop custom reports to meet the requests and requirements of HR, management and senior leadership. Support benefits and payroll staff with system and report configuration to promote end-user self-sufficiency. Prepare and schedule reports, scorecards, and dashboards quarterly and as needed.
- Work with Total Rewards & HR Technology Manager in the implementation, and integration of HR solutions in anticipation of business needs and changing environment. Analyze current processes and make recommendations for process/customer service improvement via the use of technology.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits to include health/welfare and 403b plans, assisting employees with benefits enrollment and questions, verifying and processing benefits insurance billing, maintaining employee database and files, and ensuring compliance with required benefit notices. Support implementation of wellness activities focused on the long-term health and well-being of employees.
- Ensure maximized usage of UKGPro. Serve as HRIS support for ongoing and annual HR initiatives such as talent acquisition, performance management, annual compensation planning and annual benefits enrollment. Partner with the HR and Payroll team to ensure system configurations and processes are fully integrated and compliant with applicable wage and hour and labor laws. Provide HRIS training and hands on support for the workforce. Work with Total Rewards & HR Technology Manager to support department projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Human Resources
- 3-4 years of related professional experience
- Proficiency in UKGPro
- Superior writing and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated capacity to exercise judgment, strict confidentiality, and discretion
- Ability to match the fast-paced working style, make decisions and changes quickly
- Ability to multitask, remain extremely organized, and manage the multiple moving parts that constitute the job
