In this role, you will partner with business leadership teams to translate the business strategy into a people strategy with actionable plans, meet the people needs of the business, and advocate across the HR function. This position is located at our Arden Hills, MN headquarters (hybrid work arrangement each week)
Responsibilities include:
- Driving business outcomes by translating strategy into actionable plans by leading, designing, and executing people strategies and HR initiatives.
- Leading strategic workforce planning, talent & succession planning, and influencing organizational design.
- Performing as a strategic HR expert to drive change within the business by developing a deep understanding of the business, providing insights, and coaching and partnering with executives.
- Championing a culture where employees and leaders reflect and live our vision, values, and objectives.
- Leveraging data, analytics, benchmarking, and industry knowledge to inform and enhance business decisions.
- Collaborating across the HR community to ensure strategies are effectively implemented, monitored, and improved.
Critical skills and knowledge:
- Experience in business; ability to influence and negotiate with business leaders to drive creative solutions; demonstrated business acumen
- Ability to build authentic relationships as a trusted, dependable partner
- Highly knowledgeable of the HR function, processes and policies that enable a robust and effective people strategy
- Experience leading large scale organizational change
- Expertise in multiple HR domains including total rewards and talent management principles
- Understanding of human centered design principles
Education and experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in related field and master's degree in business or human resources is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the human resources function with direct experience consulting with business leaders.
- 5+ years shaping business and talent strategies at the Business Unit level
