DIRECT HIRE: A fantastic opportunity for an HR Generalist within the Construction industry. As a vital member of the HR department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the workforce and fostering a positive organizational culture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management and compliance with labor laws. This position requires a deep understanding of HR best practices and the ability to navigate the unique challenges associated with the construction industry. You will work collaboratively with management and employees to ensure that HR strategies align with business objectives while promoting employee engagement and professional development. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Pay Range: $68K - $82K (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviewing
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees
- Facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining accurate HR records and documentation
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to enhance workplace culture
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote professional development and compliance awareness
- Payroll backup when required
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources preferred or 8 years of experience in HR
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations relevant to the construction sector
- 2 years of Vista/Viewpoint required
- Strong skills in Salary.com and Perform Yard
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
