About the role: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our People team. The ideal candidate will excel in supporting HR operations, fostering positive employee relations, and ensuring HR compliance. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering core HR services, including employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and talent support across clinical and operations staff. As an HR Generalist, you should possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support day-to-day HR needs effectively. As a hybrid employee, you will work on-site in our New Providence office 1-2 times per week.
What you'll do:
Customer Service and HR Operations:
- Support daily HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining employee records.
- Deliver high quality customer service in daily HR inquiries by responding to employee inquiries on HR processes, policies, and benefits.
- Collaborate with the HR team on various projects as needed.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts efficiently.
- Support investigations and manage employee grievances in line with company policies.
- Track and report on employee relations issues and resolutions.
Talent and Performance Support:
- Assist in the annual performance process, including evaluations and performance reviews through Lattice.
- Support managers and employees through performance improvement processes and corrective action procedures.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Manage HR data in ADP and employee files, ensuring accurate reporting of employee information and HR activities.
- Create HR reports on key metrics such as retention and engagement.
Benefits Administration:
- Collaborate with HR Manager to oversee benefit programs, responding to employee benefits-related questions.
- Support open enrollment and educate employees on benefit options.
- Administer and manage leave programs, including FMLA and ESS-specific policies.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure HR policies comply with legal requirements and best practices.
- Stay up to date with employment laws and regulations, ensuring company adherence.
Employee Engagement and Experience:
- Support employee engagement initiatives, such as pulse and engagement surveys and reporting on feedback.
- Create and implement programs in partnership with the People Operations team to enhance employee engagement and retention.
Your Experience Should Include:
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, including employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.
- A strong customer service orientation, with a focus on being approachable, responsive, and solutions oriented.
- Polished and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong ability to listen and provide guidance to employees at all levels.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of employment regulations such as ADA, FLSA, and FMLA.
- Experience maintaining an HRIS system is a must (ADP a plus).

Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000
