Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Kennesaw, GA. The HR Generalists assists the HR Business Partners with employee relations, leave management guidance, policy interpretation and general HR related questions. The HR Generalist will also collaborate with various departments to implement HR programs that align with organizational goals and support employee engagement.

What you'll be doing:
- Research and respond to employee questions, concerns and complaints. Monitors turnover and develops recommendations on trends identified.
- Monitor and manage headcount by collaborating with department leaders to track staffing needs, maintain accurate records of open and filled positions, and ensure alignment with budgeted headcount projections and organizational goals.
- Support talent development initiatives by actively participating in Talent Review sessions, assisting with the identification of high-potential employees, and tracking progress on Individual Development Plans (IDPs) to ensure alignment with career growth objectives and organizational needs.
- Support recruitment efforts by coordinating and attending fall college recruitment fairs, managing event logistics, engaging with prospective candidates, and promoting the organization's career opportunities to build a strong entry-level talent pipeline.
- Support other HR team members as needed on various projects, including ideation, creation, execution, and follow-up.
- Provide assistance to HR Team as a secondary resource during their absence in the areas of recruiting, employee relations, policy administration, general employee questions.
- Serve as HR representative on select HR committees, i.e. Safety & Wellness, Events Committee, etc.
- Assist with conducting new hire orientations.
- Other duties as assigned
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelors' Degree required
- 3+ years of general HR experience preferred
- Expected travel for this role is approximately 10% and may include attending industry events, recruitment fairs, and occasional visits to company sites.
- Experience in Headcount/Workforce Tracking Systems (i.e. Built For Teams) a plus
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Self-starter, takes initiative
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Must be flexible and work within different areas in Human Resources
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
