Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
We are looking for a result-driven HR Generalist to act as the liaison between employees across all levels and management in the Lee’s Summit facility while providing operational human resources support. A great opportunity for a candidate looking for a role that has the responsibility of being a consultative and trusted advisor in addition to being a point of contact on a variety of day-to-day HR matters alongside the rest of the team.
Job Overview and key duties
- Employee Relations: Serve as a resource for employees and managers by advising on workplace concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting positive employee engagement.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate recruitment processes, conduct interviews, manage pre-employment screenings, and facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires for non-salaried roles.
- Policy Implementation: Advise on and ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and practices in alignment with company goals and legal requirements.
- Performance Management: Support managers in the performance appraisal process, including coaching and providing guidance on employee development and feedback.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- HR Administration: Manage employee records, HR documentation, and data integrity within HR systems.
- Health & Safety: Collaborate with operations to support workplace safety initiatives, return-to-work programs, and workers’ compensation administration.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyse HR KPIs and other key HR metrics or reports as required to support decision-making.
- Other Duties: Perform additional HR-related tasks as needed to support the team and organization.
Additional information
- Qualification in Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent
- 1-2 years previous Human Resources experience
