Shift: Day - 4 10 hour, or 5 8 hour
Wage: $33.20 - $40.86 per hour, depending on experience

Position Overview: We are driven to create an inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible work environment for our employee owners. The HR Generalistcontributes to the development and administration of human resources programs, procedures, and plans. The position regularly consults with managers, supervisors, and employees on various human resources functions such as Employee Relationships, Total Rewards, and Recruitment.
Responsibilities:Essential Job Functions:
Employee Relationships:
- Builds proactive retention and engagement programs to improve the employee experience.
- Supports a safe work environment by soliciting feedback from employees, investigating concerns, and resolving conflict in a productive fashion.
- Collaborates with managers to resolve conflict by interviewing employees, document findings, mediating discussions, individual coaching, and designing individual development plans.
Total Rewards:
- Assists in administering benefits, leaves of absence, and compensation programs.
- Partners with Total Rewards team to organize and plan the benefits fair, open enrollment, and information sessions.
- Research and propose opportunities to drive engagement via better utilization of benefits, wellness programs, and other incentives.
Learning & Development:
- Creates organization, department, and individual development plans including succession planning.
- Responsible for the development of training programs aimed at aligning employee performance with organizational goals.
- Develops learning and development programs including training aids and other supportive resources.
- Collaborate with HR Operations teams to identify opportunities to improve employee relationships, performance, and development plans.
Recruitment:
- Assists with recruiting for operations and administrative positions as assigned during busy season.
- Supports employees with updating and revising resumes and interview coaching to prepare them for internal job openings.
- Facilitates new hire orientation as needed.
HR Administration:
- Supports committee administration in the organization to ensure collaboration and cohesion including but not limited to; Wellness, Sustainability, Safety, and 401k.
- Suggests new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department to improve employee experience.
- Maintainshighest level of confidentiality at all times.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position will report to the Employee Relationships Lead.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to research using resources and vendors to give guidance to HR around legal topics
- Knowledge of US and OR employment law.
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflict with all levels of employees.
- Knowledge of HR trends and best practices and ability to share knowledge.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Adaptability to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated communication skills utilized to provide excellent customer service.
- Proven ability to collaborate on cross-functional projects and teams.

Qualifications:
- 4 or more years of human resources experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline preferred.
- Any combination of experience and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks.
Physical Demands:
- Position requires the ability to sit for up to approximately two hours at a time, and retrieve information and documents from department staff within and outside the office area.
- May be required to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
- The primary work environment for this position is within an office setting. There are no adverse conditions associated with this position.
- On-site work is required3 days per week, unless proactively agreed upon for a temporary period.
