Description
Our client is in need of an HR Specialist/Generalist who specializes in employee relations. This person will be the point person on enforcing policies and procedures of a high profile contract.
Responsibilities
- Handle employee relations to maintain positive relationships between employees and other members connected to the organization
- Enforce policies and procedures as they relate to the project
- Investigate, and provide resolution for systematic matters such as harassment, terminations, worker's compensation, EEOC, and accommodation needs
- Address and troubleshoot employee complaints
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years experience in Human Resources
- Bilingual Spanish/English speaking is highly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of labor and employment law
- Great interpersonal skills
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Prior experience working in employment law, social services, the government or a staffing firm is desired
- Previous experience working as on-site HR through a staffing firm is highly favored
- Relevant training or HR Certifications required
