HR Generalist - WCF Insurance

Position

The human resources department has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF Insurance values to join their team as a HR Generalist. This is a full-time, exempt position that works out of WCF's Sandy, Utah headquarters. This posting is open to internal and external candidates.

Responsibilities

The HR generalist will take the lead on all recruiting efforts as well as the onboarding efforts of new WCF Insurance employees. The person in this position will administer many other standard HR functions including background checks, tuition reimbursement, and other tasks.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Bachelor's degree (graduate degree preferred);
• At least 2 years of experience in HR, specifically in a recruiting role or a closely related field;
• Current PHR or SPHR designation or willingness and eligibility to obtain designation immediately;
• Strong understanding of industry recruiting practices;
• Working knowledge of compensation and benefits;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to solve problems and enhance existing processes;
• Superior organizational and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.

Internal candidates should have acceptable job performance, six months in current position, and must notify their current supervisor that they've applied for the position.

Ability to hire at the HR Specialist or Senior HR Generalist Level depending on experience.
