We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting/Temporary HR Generalist for a temporary role in the fast-paced finance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR functions, including i9 verification, new hire paperwork, open enrollment, managing 401K plans, and employee relations. This role will require a hands-on approach, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple HR tasks simultaneously. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to our team, driving HR initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
This role is 100% onsite in Houston, TX and is projected to start October 21st and go through the end of the year (with potential for extension).

Job Details
The Consulting/Temporary HR Generalist will take on a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
1. Managing all aspects of the hiring process, from i9 verification to the completion of new hire paperwork.
2. Facilitating the open enrollment process, ensuring all employees are provided with the necessary information and support to make informed decisions about their benefits.
3. Overseeing the company's 401K plan, providing guidance to employees, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
4. Handling employee relations issues in a confidential, fair, and consistent manner, fostering a positive work environment.
5. Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with business objectives and comply with legal requirements.
6. Providing advice and guidance on HR matters to managers and staff, promoting best practices and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting/Temporary HR Generalist role will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR Generalist role, preferably within the finance industry.
2. Proven experience with i9 verification, new hire paperwork, open enrollment, 401K management, and employee relations.
3. A thorough understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
5. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
6. A proactive approach, with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions.
7. A degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
