Description:
Summary: This role supports the implementation of employee relations policies and procedures in a large-scale food production organization. Key responsibilities include managing employee relations, handling labor relations issues, administering collective bargaining agreements, and enforcing company policies. This position also involves HRIS management, data analysis, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and coaching to employees and managers.
- Develop and maintain HR metrics and reports.
- Assist in policy development and handbook maintenance.
- Address employee complaints and grievances.
- Manage unemployment claims and investigations.
- Utilize HRIS systems for data entry and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Conduct investigations and prepare necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certifications.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Ability to use a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry light objects.
Work Environment:
- Office and plant environment.
