Position Summary
Reporting to the Sr. HR Director or designee, the HR Intern will be an active participant in the implementation of a new digitized document management platform to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance for all employee records. In this role, the Intern will partner with key members of the HR Team to learn the new platform, train users, and maximize the functionality for use. This role will include scanning and other clerical functions in addition to participating in other key initiatives to improve efficiency across all Human Resource teams.

Education & Experience Requirements
- Required: Currently enrolled in a degree program in Human Resources or a closely related field

- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products; Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to be effective in both a group and one-on-one setting

- Strong project management skills; ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects and timelines

Physical/Mental Demands/Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time (meeting/event attendance, or at a computer).
- Ability to speak clearly and with the volume required to carry on clear conversations in person, over the phone and at public events.
- Must be able to travel to and from Main Hospital Campus, Offsite facilities and other event and venue meeting locations.
