Human Resource Dimensions has been engaged to place an HR Manager for an industrial client in the Douglasville area. The Human Resources Manager plans, directs, and coordinates all administrative functions of the organization related to human resources. This role encompasses overseeing the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes, talent development, payroll administration, and all employee labor relations. Consulting with top executives on strategic planning and serving as the primary link between management and employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in developing and implementing personnel policies; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policy and procedure manual.
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Administers compensation program; monitors performance evaluations program and revises as necessary.
- Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees.
- Conducts recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and all temporary employees.
- Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviews.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. Maintains company organizational charts and employee directory.
- Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
- Maintains Human Resources Information System records and compiles reports from database.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Ensure that all regulatory postings and notifications are appropriately displayed and distributed within the organization.
- Collaborate with Employee Health and Safety team to coordinate site safety programs, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Performs other related duties as required.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) to five (5) years of Human Resource Experience, OR
- Master’s degree in human resource management and two (2) years of experience in the HR field, OR
- Seven (7) years of experience in the HR field, OR
- Any similar combination of education and experience
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
