Exxat is a US-headquartered company that builds an integrated, cloud-based, education management platform for Health Sciences.
HR Manager
The HR Manager will manage all aspects of the U.S. Compliance-related topics spanning from Federal, State, and local regulatory compliance to internal Exxat Brands standards.
This role will report to the Head, People Success & Culture in India and to the COO based out of US.
This is a pivotable role leading and managing company and employee compliance programs.
What you'll do:
Lead and manage all HR Compliance related initiatives
Ensure that comprehensive processes are in place to measure the effectiveness of plans and programs measured against design strategies and outcome expectations
Good understanding of I-9 compliance concepts
Manage the HR Compliance consultant, ensuring high quality of work, and ensure that the PSC BPs (HRBPs) are provided with monthly summaries of missing and incorrect I-9s to ensure internal and regulatory compliance
Serve as escalation POC for the applicable I-9 processes, assist in identifying risks and escalate cases to internal and external key stakeholders
Managing plan compliance audits, testing, and filings.
Develop and lead the HR Compliance strategy for Exxat Brands to comply with local market requirements.
Provide guidance and training to BU leaders and representatives regarding the execution of HR processes.
Consult with the legal department and advise leadership and management on compliance matters.
Serve as a point of contact during internal/external audits.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and recommend process improvements.
Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly data reporting utilizing the current employee data and HRMS.
Who you are:
5+ years of HR experience with strong exposure to Compliance
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects/requests simultaneously.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to proactively drive change and process improvements
Excellent team player.
Good to Have:
Experience working in a product or SaaS organisation
Experience working with stakeholders in multi-geography especially India
