Salary $55,000-$65,000 depending on experience

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly qualified HR Manager to join our team in the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation industry. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. Your main goal will be to ensure that our organization attracts, hires, and retains the best talent in the industry, while also maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification in HR, such as SHRM-CP or PHR.
- Experience with HRIS and other HR-related software.
- Experience working with a diverse workforce.
- Ability to speak multiple languages.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Skills:
As the HR Manager, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage employee relations and work collaboratively with other departments. You will also need strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire your team to achieve their goals. In addition, you will need to have a deep understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices, and be able to apply them in a practical and effective manner. Finally, you will need to be highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
