About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Manager to lead the human resources function of a manufacturing warehouse. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR-related activities, ensuring legal compliance, promoting a positive workplace culture, and engaging in employee engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop effective HR policies and programs tailored to the fast-paced and dynamic needs of a warehouse environment.
Location: Sacramento, CA
Pay Range: $85,000.00-106,000.00
Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive work environment, resolve conflicts, and handle disciplinary actions in line with company policies.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews, and onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Oversee payroll processing, benefits programs, and ensure competitive compensation packages are offered.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws, including OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Implement and manage performance evaluation processes, goal-setting, and development programs for employees.
- Create, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and legal standards.
- Track and report on key HR metrics to guide strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) preferred.
- 5+ years of HR experience, must have manufacturing or warehouse enviroment experience
- Strong understanding of employment laws, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, OSHA, and California labor laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
