Position summary:
Represent the Murdock Auto Team brand in managing tasks for the Accounting Office to help the organization stand in a league of our own in the automotive industry by delivering on our No Regrets promise through enthusiasm in service opportunities, guest experience, and continual innovation and growth.
Tasks:
Overview with the manager weekly on the status of rebate claims. Basic accounting. Excel/word knowledge.
Communicate with the team in the accounting office area, Finance managers, Controller, and other leadership personnel to enthusiastically engage guests needs and concerns in regards to vehicles that have been sold: managing the title process, guest concerns, communicating tasks to be completed, following up on exceptions, processing paperwork accurately, and other basic needs in the process of title management.
- Organize daily operational tasks for managing title documentation and processing of paperwork to align with Murdock Auto Team's core values and enthusiastically engaging guests with questions.
- Develop teamwork among the employees who work in the accounting and sales area and partner with other Murdock employees to create the best guest experience in the automotive industry.
- Partner with the dealership controller to ensure compliance in all state law and legal processes.
- Problem solve with little supervision to handle unique issues that may arise as title concerns are processed and guests experience unforeseen problems with their sales experience.
- Enhances Murdock Auto Team's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different tasks as defined by Murdock Auto Team Management and working as a valued team member with other departments as directed.
Skills:
Organization, problem solving, people management, basic computer and spreadsheet management, proper operation of all vehicle types, customer service, teamwork, communication with managers, engaging others, soft people skills, ability to learn in a fast-paced, small office, leadership, and adaptability to manage through change.
Experience And Education: Must be able to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment with computers and basic communication software on computers. Must be a minimum of 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States with current driver's license and good driver record.
Must be able to read and comprehend employee handbooks, warranty processes, and other automotive materials. Ability to learn quickly and take direction from dealership leaders.
Experience in basic customer service skills preferred.
Previous experience in managing people in an office setting preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk; sit; use hands, handle tools, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Need ability to move around the dealership. Manipulate cameras and computer. The employee may be required to lift up to 20 pounds. Work in the Lot and Dealership with other employees in all weather conditions including excessive heat and inclement weather.
