HR Payroll SpecialistPosition Overview
The Payroll Specialistoperatesin a highly analytical and dynamic environment under the direction of the Time & Attendance Supervisor – Payroll Operations. The incumbent willbe responsible forensuring theaccurateandtimelymanagement of time and attendance records, supporting payroll operations, and ensuring compliance with payroll policies and regulatory guidelines. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing timekeeping systems andassistingwith payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the technical administration of time and attendance systems,RPA management on Mondays,including troubleshooting and system updates.
Assistin testing and implementing new system features or upgrades.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for the Time & Attendance system and support its usage across the company.
Ensure timekeeping data isaccurateand aligned with company policies and compliance standards.
Assistwith payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for both weekly and monthly payroll cycles.
Generate and file weekly unemployment for all GA eligible locations.
Support Workday payroll operations for monthly payroll processing.
Interpret and administer company payroll policies while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Generate and provide timekeeping and payroll reports for internal stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in timekeeping data in collaboration with supervisors and the payroll team.
System Setup and Maintenance of various elements in Workforce, including station, policy mapping for imports, shift, model, model filter, employee filter, rotation pattern, selection constraints, and auto-scheduler staffing criteria.
Troubleshoots Workforce related imports and Integration files for errors.
Provide support and guidance to employees on payroll inquiries, timekeeping issues, and policies.
Assist the Time & Attendance Supervisor with special projects related to payroll operations and process improvements.
Responsible for Filing Partial UI forGeorgia Associates
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Human Resources, or related field preferred or a minimum of 3 years of payroll experience
Proficiencyin using workforce management software and systems (e.g., Workforce, Workday).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree
4years of experience in payroll, HR, or accounting
Advanced Excel Skills (Marcos, Pivot tables, V-lookup)
Excellent written and verbal communication

Special Requirements:
Willing to work all Mondays including holidays. Willing to work weekends and evenings as needed. Incumbent must be able to work under time constraintsensuredeadlines are met. Must be able to prioritize, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
