Responsibilities:Partners with HR colleagues and their customers across our US businesses to leverage technical capabilities in support of HR needs. Operates as both a technical and strategic advisor to the
business and internal client community. Will also partner with the global HCM solutions team, to provide creative, strategy-focused solutions. The Shared Service Business Analyst will work with areas such as recruiting, onboarding, performance, succession planning and workflow management technology HR reporting, metrics and analytics as well as assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, processing data flows and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers to configure, test, and rollout HR programs and enhancements within HRIS systems.
- Support the development of or prepare HRIS post-production support documentation and/or training materials, and deliver training as needed.
- Implement HR technology solutions, including building interfaces, system enhancements, and integration projects utilizing best practices and ensuring compliance.
- Evaluate current HR systems based on client feedback and suggest improvements to align with customer needs.
- Perform daily administration responsibilities around workflows, forms troubleshooting, onboarding, document management, and performance management within HCM system.
- Perform daily administration responsibilities within the Applicant Tracking System for the U.S. Companies (user access, troubleshooting, enhancements, workflow adjustments and data management).
- Assist in HR Technology Product Backlog maintenance, including managing the intake process and participating in refinement/prioritization of backlog items.
- Monitor and resolve issues with weekly file feeds, overnight processes in Headcount management system, and HR dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting, Federal, state, and local legislation, as well as benefit plan compliance.
- Assess HR and business needs to identify opportunities for automation and partner with HR teams to design and configure efficient and scalable end-to-end processes.
- Plan, execute, and maintain projects related to system upgrades and implementations, including testing new system features and evaluating implementations prior to production release.
- Create sustainable reporting practices that meet the needs of business units and provide relevant and accurate HR data on a regular/ad-hoc basis.
- Build data auditing tools and processes to ensure the integrity of information and perform regular audits to validate data accuracy within Shared Services.
- Maintain HR and executive dashboard metrics and management reports to empower leaders to make informed business decisions with real-time data relating to workforce management.
- Participate and assist with the design, build, and delivery of a global HCM system with integrations into existing systems as required.
- Manage vendor relationships related to areas of responsibility.
- Resolve complex technical problems and engage additional functional resources as necessary.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or demonstrated applicable work experience
- 5+ years of proven experience in business analysis, HRIS, or related field
- Progressive technical experience (preferably with Ceridian’s Dayforce) with systems upgrades, reporting, data visualizations, integrations and/or product implementations.
Experience/Knowledge
- Experience working in a highly regulated fast paced environment balancing agility, performance, and customer centricity.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems setup, navigation and best practices in providing exceptional employee experiences in technology.
- Highly collaborative with experience working within cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Requires the analytical abilities and skills necessary to conduct and investigate complaints, disciplinary activities, determine problems, identify solutions, make recommendations, interact with labor counsel, etc.
- Demonstrates excellence in customer relations and building partnerships at all levels within the organization.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- A critical thinker with formidable problem-solving, analytical, and statistical skills.
- Ability to perform diagnostics, identify problems and provide solutions.
- Ability to engage with leaders and managers and translate business needs into solid business/technology requirements.
- Ability to prioritize work under time constraints in order to meet project deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic environment developing or implementing technology related process improvements and initiatives using agile methodology.
- SME in HR processes and procedures. Global experience a plus.
What’s in it for you?
The expected hiring compensation range for this position is $88,300 - $121,375 annually. This position is hybrid requiring 3 days in our Frederick, Maryland office.
The total compensation package for this position may include other elements, such as a sign-on bonus, long term incentives, and annual bonuses. This role is eligible to participate in the Legal & General America Annual Incentive Plan. The current target payment for the position is 8% of base salary, modified for corporate and individual performance. Bonuses are pro-rated based on start date. This role has 15 vacation days and 10 sick days that are accrued on a bi-weekly basis. Employees also have 9 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
