Human Resources Team Relations Specialist
General Summary:
We are seeking a Human Resources Team Relations Specialist to provide essential support to a Tier 1 automotive supplier in Jackson, TN, ensuring stable team member relations, fostering positive working relationships, and reinforcing company values and culture. This role may also involve supporting Safety, Security, and Training functions.
Essential Job Functions:
• Resolve issues and provide feedback.
• Ensure fairness and consistency in policy application.
• Conduct exit interviews and policy development.
• Standardize hiring practices.
• Draft termination recommendations and negotiate service contracts.
• Support surveys, morale analysis, and various training.
• Coordinate team member relations activities.
• Investigate internal complaints and Ethics Point matters.
• Plan and lead social/community activities.
• Cross-train HR members as needed.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• PHR or SPHR designation preferred.
Experience:
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant human resources generalist experience, with focused experience in an employee/team member relations role.
• Corporate and manufacturing setting experience preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and prioritize activities effectively.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs.
• Proficiency in report creation and business correspondence.
• Ability to compile visual reports using charts, graphs, and tables.
• Adaptability to maintain corporate culture standards.
• Quick response and adaptability to unexpected or continuing situations in the workplace.
• Flexibility to work fixed or rotating shift schedules, including outside normal business hours.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Computer/Software:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (word processing, spreadsheet, email, database, and presentation applications, pr
• Experience with large-scale HRIS and enterprise systems, preferably Oracle and Kronos.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base compensation for this role is between $70,000 to 90,000, based on experience. Bonuses are available. This company provides an excellent suite of benefits including company paid medical for you and your family, dental, and 401k matching.
