Job Summary:
The HR SUPERVISOR is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Duke's Basic HR Capabilities at the Sedalia location in compliance with company policies and legal regulations, and in alignment with Duke's Purpose, Mission and Values. This role requires a proactive approach to human resources, engaging daily with Supervisors, Leads, and Employees (via Supervisor meetings and going to Gemba) and with a focus on fostering a positive work environment and driving continuous improvement.
- Serves as a partner and advisor to production leaders and may support other functional leaders, aiding in alignment of people strategies with business objectives for the development and retention of a highly performing/highly engaged workforce.
- Supervises and leads the Sedalia HR staff, supporting the development and engagement of the HR team.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR, preferably in manufacturing and at the Senior HR Generalist and/or HR leadership experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred. A combination of education and/or experience in related areas may be considered.
- Certifications: PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP, or equivalent preferred
- Location: Onsite at Sedalia, Missouri
- Work Schedule: Can either be a 5-day workweek or a 4-day compressed workweek
