HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
You will report directly to the Director, Human Resources and will provide leadership and HR Generalist support on a wide range of initiatives to manage your location and cover other locations as needed.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial/labor Relations, Human Resources Management, psychology, or related field.
- Experience: HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Skills: Expertise in HR management aspects (staffing, employee relations, labor relations, performance management, leadership development, training), talent management, and succession planning.
- Decision-Making: Ability to influence decision-making and deliver tough messages with professionalism.
- Analytical Skills: Strong expertise in developing solutions based on data analytics.
- Consultative Approach: Proven ability to develop credible relationships with business partners.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities |
· Employee relations, answering/developing solutions for employee/manager/outside agency issues and questions, · Plan/execute organizational changes while the security of information, data and files. · Maintain employee file records: changes in employee status, performance and discipline documents, etc., in timely manner. · Prepare paperwork needed to create new employee profile and to place new employee on payroll. Assist in maintenance of employee directory and company organization charts. · Coordinate volunteer and staff training events or programs and recommend resources, as needed. · Assist Corporate Manager, Human Resources to organize company functions/events. · Assist in coordinating open enrollment, health fairs, and other benefits activities. · Administer and monitor new hire orientation programs. · Handle time-sensitive issues that arise in the absence of the Corporate Manager, Human Resources · Prepare source documentation needed for new hires, or changes in pay, status, or benefits.
