About the Job
As an HRMS Application Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations of the application, management, maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of business-critical applications and systems within the portfolio of applications assigned. You will collaborate with the business and ITS personnel and others as required to optimize performance, streamline processes, and enhance and maintain data integrity and accuracy. As the HRMS Application Systems Administrator, you will assist application support in troubleshooting recurring problems, and support efforts during major incidents and outages, as well as ensuring essential services are continuously available.

YOUR IMPACT
The essential functions of this position include:
- Day to day operation of tier 1 applications (UKG and iCIMS), ensuring reliability and functionality
- Understanding the maintenance, upgrades and updates, configuration, and reliable operation of business-critical applications and systems
- Monitor overall system health and ensure continuous availability of essential services 24x7
- Lead restoration efforts during major incidents and unplanned system outages
- Manage user permissions and administration for application and system access
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 application support and resolution related to assigned applications within the SLAs published
- Understand the application, data process and setup for optimization, analysis, proof of concept and recommendations
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular audits and implementing data validation processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance in accordance with data protection regulations
- Work with and collaborate with other ITS application and business owners on projects or as directed by management for process improvement and recommendations
- Support delivery of any approved customizations for the application in alignment with organization requirements, permissions, workflows, reporting in accordance with the SDLC Process
- Understand integrations to the assigned applications, assist with testing, communication and implementation
- Maintain documentation for support, configurations, processes and procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies governing data privacy, security and reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant experience.
- 4+ years in Application Systems Administration or similar role, with a strong understanding of business processes and HRIS systems.
- 2+ years of experience in administrating software applications in support of Human Capital business processes including but not limited to: Benefits, Benefits Administration, Talent Acquisition & Recruiting, Employee/Customer Relationship Management, Reward and Recognition, Performance Management, LMS, etc.
- Specific platform experience with applications such as UKG, iCIMS is preferred.
- Solid understanding of data management principles and best practices, including experience in data analysis, business intelligence and reporting – knowledge of Power BI/Cognos preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and provide user support and training both written and verbal
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and experience ensuring compliance within associated systems.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, HRIP) are a plus.
- Experience in partnering with and supporting business stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
- Ability to solve complex, time-sensitive problems under high pressure.
- Experience participating in projects, deployments, migrations, and changes.
- Can work independently and collaboratively within a team.
POSITION SPECIFICS
The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $75,000 and $90,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered.
