Overview:
Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a HRIS Specialist with UKG HCM system experience. This person will support the company’s HR and other corporate teams regarding all aspects of the UKG system. This position requires a fundamental understanding of the UKG platform, including HR Core, Dimensions (Attendance and Timekeeping), and BI reporting. In this role, you will be the dedicated UKG guru, assisting other team members with system reporting, quality control and standards, system updates, and more.
This position will be a hybrid position in our Houston energy corridor office.
Responsibilities:- Oversight of system data standards, including general system maintenance, basic reporting requests, user/access audits, etc.
- Partners with various teams within and outside of HR to gather, define and document functional requirements based on their workflow and processes.
- Test, validate and deploy HR Systems configuration across different modules (e.g., HR Core, Time and Attendance, Payroll).
- Identifies and resolves issues pertaining to system configuration, usage, and integration.
- Oversees permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Conducts routine audits of employee records/data within UKG (including Business Rules tables) to correct inconsistencies, missing employee data, inaccurate data, and unpopulated fields that should be populated.
- Performs group data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and researches/reports on any data discrepancies.
- Assists in monitoring Document Acknowledgements (assigned to employees) to follow up on incomplete, unsigned, or unacknowledged documents (such as policy updates or documents requiring employees’ signature).
- Work with different teams to understand, document, create, and deliver system reports within UKG's Cognos reporting solution
- Assist with processes, training, and support and serves as a system expert for both HR Team and other department team system users
- Assist with new project/module scopes, including implementation, testing, training, and system upgrades
- 3+ years of experience working with UKG/UltiPro and/or Kronos
- Advanced proficiency with reporting and analysis applications (Excel, Access, and Cognos)
- Prior experience with data analysis and reporting using BI tools with databases and data warehouses directly
- MUST be able to work with databases and large data sets and ensure accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement
- Thorough understanding of all areas of HR information systems, including HR, Payroll, and Time & Attendance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills while supporting multiple projects
- Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly
- Relationship building and customer service oriented
