Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive environmental, safety and health management systems.
- Conduct regular site safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop and deliver training and education programs and ensure staff are aware and adhere to relevant HSE procedures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future.
- Develop and implement programs and policies for monitoring and preventing chemical, physical, and biological hazards at the company facilities.
- Provide guidance and advice to the company on a range of HSE issues.
- Prepare, maintain, and update environmental policy and procedure manuals.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations, and keep abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization.
- Serve as the link between corporate management and employees on HSE matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role in the technology industry.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Proficient in data analysis and risk assessment.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
- Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
- Resilient with a high level of personal integrity and energy experience.
