Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Education, or a related field.
Certification by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or other recognized national governing bodies (e.g., American College of Sports Medicine, USA Weightlifting, Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association) required.
Minimum of one year of experience in a human performance or strength and conditioning environment.
Experience leading sport-specific training sessions for youth populations is preferred.
Skills:
Strong communication and decision-making skills.
Maturity, high dependability, and the ability to build rapport with sport coaches, parents, PSM staff, and the community.
Expertise in sport-specific resistance training and conditioning.
